The demo is a testament hashtag#DLMS interoperability over the 1900 MHz non-licensed band dedicated to DECT. This is big news for the industry, given the regulation allows maximum 23 dBm transmit power. What does this mean in real terms? An impressive over 5 km line of sight range with 1 Mbps bandwidth. With mesh topology this provides superior wireless network coverage leading to best SLA seen in smart metering.
